Posted 4/4/2011
This summer, Journey is teaming up with Foreigner and Night Ranger for a 4-month-long tour throughout the U.S. The 39-city mega tour kicks off on July 15 at the Rock USA Festival in Oshkosh, Wisc., and runs through Oct. 21 at the Key Arena in Seattle.

The bands will cross the U.S. twice-over with gigs in the West throughout July, central and northeastern states in August, southern states in September and the West to close it out in October.

Some of the tour highlights include July 23 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif.; Aug. 5 at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus; Aug. 31 for The Great Allentown Fair in Pennsylvania; and Sept. 17 at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Journey will be playing in support of their new album, "Eclipse," which debuts on May 24. "Eclipse" features 12 new tracks written by guitarist Neal Schon and keyboard player Jonathan Cain with collaboration from singer Arnel Pineda, their vocal phenom from the Phillipines.

Foreigner's most recent album was 2009's "Can't Slow Down" and Night Ranger's is 2008's "Hole in the Sun."
