John Mayer Tour Update John Mayer continues to tour in support of his latest release "Battle Studies." Mayer will return to the U.S. on July 16 and will tour steadily until October 10. Along the way, he's also got a stop scheduled at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Joining him on this summer run are guests Train, The Avett Brothers and Owl City.

The first round of "Battle Studies" tour dates kicked off in February 2010, but they aren't coming to a close anytime soon. Though the first leg of his North American tour wrapped up on April 10, he's going to be busy over the next two months while he's promoting his album overseas.

The summer amphitheater tour will be preceded by an outside appearance in Rockefeller Plaza on NBC's Today Show as part of their summer concert series.

Mayer's fourth studio album, "Battle Studies," was released in November 2009.
