This fall, Jimmy Eat World is heading out on a worldwide tour in support of their seventh studio album, Invented. The North American tour kicks off on Sept. 21 at the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta and runs through Oct. 30 at the Marquee Theatre in Phoenix.

Some of the highlights of the tour include stops at the Warfield in San Francisco on Sept. 30; the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on Oct. 7; Terminal 5 in New York on Oct. 13-14; and the Boston House of Blues on Oct. 15.

Jimmy Eat World will also be joined by We Were Promised Jetpacks from Sept. 29 through Oct. 17, including Oct. 3 at the Ogden Theatre in Denver and Oct. 11 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia.

Civil Twilight will be joining the group for the opening gig in Atlanta and Sept. 22 at The Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C.

Invented was released on Sept 28, 2010, through Interscope Records. Invented features the hit single "My Best Theory," which jumped to No. 4 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and No. 16 on Billboard's Rock Songs Chart following its release on Aug. 10.
