Jason Mraz has extended his "Gratitude Caf?our" through August, supporting the platinum-selling hit "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." The singer kicks things off in Columbia, MD, on July 25th, and has a plethora of tour dates through August 30th.
"We Sing?" is Mraz's third studio album. Since he began his career in 1999, he has become the quirky boy-next-door type, but he enjoyed international success with his 2008 hit, "I'm Yours."
Mraz released his first album, "Waiting for my Rocket to Come," in 2002, which included the hit "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)." He enjoyed its success, and in July of 2005 he toured on Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill Acoustic Tour." Right after, he released his second album, "Mr. A-Z" - it included "Wordplay" and "Geek in the Pink."
In December of 2006, he released "Selections for Friends," the online-only album recorded during his "Songs for Friends" tour previously. On May 13, 2008, he released "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." The first hit was "I'm Yours," and the follow-up was "Lucky" with Colbie Caillat.
Mraz's song "I'm Yours" was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 2009 51st Grammy Awards, and his album "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things" was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical in 2009.
Jason's music also continues to have commercial appeal. His song "Beautiful Mess" was featured in a recent episode of the hit drama series "Brothers and Sisters" on ABC.

Jason Mraz is a singer/songwriter from Mechanicsville, VA. After graduating high school, he briefly attended Longwood University in Farmville, VA, before spending a small amount of time studying musical theater at New York's American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Mraz signed with Elektra Records in 2002, and produced his first album, "Waiting for My Rocket to Come." His next album, "Mr. A-Z," came in July 2005 after opening for Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill Acoustic Tour. Atlantic Records produced the album. Not only did it peak in the Billboard Top 100 at #5, but it also received a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album.
In November 2005, Mraz opened for the Rolling Stones for some of their 2005-2006 tour. In 2006, Mraz toured small music festivals in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland, and ultimately released a live, online-only album that features some of his favorite songs from two shows that he played in July that year.
Mraz debuted his single "The Beauty in Ugly" in early 2007. The song was featured as a part of ABC's "Be Ugly in '07" campaign, which promoted the TV show "Ugly Betty." His latest studio album "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." was released on May 13, 2008.
