Iron Maiden Tour News Iron Maiden is gearing up for their North American tour, which kicks off on June 9 in Dallas in support of their new album, "The Final Frontier." Special guest Dream Theater will join the band in all but one of their stops.

"The Final Frontier" is the band's fifteenth album, and is scheduled to be released in summer 2010. In addition to the North American dates of the tour, Iron Maiden will also be playing one date in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Italy. These appearances are mostly festival dates, as the European summer festival scene embraces heavy metal more readily than in the U.S.

The band's last album, "A Matter of Life and Death," was released in 2006 and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard charts.
