News and Information
Hellyeah is a heavy metal supergroup featuring members of Pantera, Damageplan, Mudvayne and Nothingface. Drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and current bassist Bob Zilla were formerly of Damageplan, vocalist Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett came from Mudvayne, and guitarist Tom Maxwell and bassist Jerry Montano came from Nothingface. Jerry Montano has also played bass with Danzig.

On April 18th, 2007, Blabbermouth.com ran an article saying that Montano had "departed for personal reasons." However, this story was dismissed as false, with the true story coming out later. He was actually fired from the band because, during the April 10th, 2007 release party for Hellyeah's debut disc at Vinnie Paul's stripclub The Clubhouse, he got violently drunk and punched Tom Maxwell in the face. When he made a gun threat towards everyone in the club, he was escorted out of the building. Former Damageplan bassist Bob Zilla has since been officially confirmed as the new bassist.
