Hank Williams Jr.'s "Rowdy Friends" tour kicks off in April with confirmed dates in Charleston, WV, Louisville, KY, and Lafayette, LA, to name a few. Williams is touring with special guests Jamey Johnson and Eric Churce. On his April 17th he will appear with The Grascals.

More dates will be announced throughout the Spring for dates in the South and mid-west, so stay tuned. He is set to appear at the 'BamaJam Music & Arts Festival' on June 4th.

Based on his release "127 Rose Avenue," Williams continues to celebrate his first collection of new material since 2003 when "I'm One With You" debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 and Number 7 on the Top Country Albums Chart.

With a career spanning more than four decades, highlighted with well-known hits like, "Long Gone Lonesome Blues," "Eleven Roses" and "All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settled Down)," Hank Jr., continues to define his Southern Rock/Blues style of music that has not yet alienated him from the world of Country Music. His list of accolades from the Academy of Country Music, as well as The Country Music Association is consistently impressive.

The son of the legendary Hank Williams was born May 26th, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The friends and guests of his father, like, Johnny Cash, Fats Domino, Earl Scruggs and Jerry Lee Lewis, were regular influences on Hank Jr., growing up. His Mother, Audrey Williams, promoted and guided him after the untimely death of Hank Senior.

Encouraged by his mother to imitate the style of his deceased father, Hank Jr. became disillusioned with his career. He was not keen to be his Father's clone, but when the film biography of Hank Williams life was made, ("Your Cheatin' Heart"), Hank Jr's own composition, "Standing in the Shadows (Of a Very Famous Man)" , on the soundtrack for the movie, made it to the charts.

"All For The Love of Sunshine" in 1970, and "Eleven Roses" in 1972 followed and were both number one hits.

In spite of struggles with alcohol, which came with everything else he inherited from his famous father, Hank Jr., has survived and flourished. His best known hit, "A Country Boy Can Survive", perhaps, says it all.

Last year Williams' release of single, "Red White and Pink Slip Blues" hit the charts at #43 and has been the lead off song on his new album, "127 Rose Avenue."
