Gavin DeGraw continues to tour in support of his latest album, Sweeter.

With just a handful of U.S. tour dates left including Dec. 19 at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, NY Gavin DeGraw will proceed touring throughout Europe until February 2012.

Sweeter, Gavin DeGraw's fourth studio album, was released in September 2011. It features songs like "Not Over You" and "Soldier." As in Gavin DeGraw's past discography, the album features catchy hooks, plenty of guitar and the gritty voice that we've all come to know and love. However, this is the first album where Gavin DeGraw had some assistance from co-writers, which he said opened his mind to new ideas like '70s R&B.

At the age of eight, Gavin DeGraw began playing the piano in his South Fallsburg, N.Y., home. The youngest of three siblings, Gavin DeGraw was actually inspired to write music by his older brother, Joey, who is also an artist.

Gavin DeGraw started modestly playing alongside other pianists in Manhattan clubs, but his big break came in 2003 when his song "I Don't Want to Be" was chosen as the theme song for the television show One Tree Hill. After the song's debut, Gavin DeGraw steadily grew more popular with appearances on several late night shows. His first album, Chariot, has since been certified Platinum thanks to the popularity of songs like "Follow Through," "Chariot" and "I Don't Want to Be."

Over the next five years, Gavin DeGraw remained steadily busy touring and releasing music videos, as well as opening a NYC music venue, The National Underground, with his brother. After spending nearly a year and a half in the studio, Gavin DeGraw released a self-titled studio album in May 2008. This album brought his second biggest single, "In Love with a Girl." It also features popular songs like "She Holds a Key" and "Cheated on Me."

Gavin DeGraw's third studio album came much quicker. It took only two weeks to record, and after only 10 months, Free was released to the public. The album didn't feature a big hook like his past albums, but it still received favorable reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

For Gavin DeGraw's fourth studio album, he switched labels and also began co-writing with other artists. The result was Sweeter, which debuted in September 2011. In addition to the title song, the album features three other collaboration songs: "Not Over You," "Run Every Time" and "Spell It Out." Following the release of his fourth album, Gavin DeGraw toured the U.S. with Maroon 5, Train and David Cook.
