But before that outing takes place, Clapton is continuing his cool collaborations by performing with guitar god Jeff Beck for a select few shows - 2 nights at Madison Square Garden followed by 2 dates in Canada.

In 2008-2009, Clapton embarked on a number of reunions, including a Cream tour and a late-February show with fellow Yardbird Beck in Japan, as well as a co-headlining tour with former Blind Faith band mate Steve Winwood.

Clapton and Winwood plan to revisit their joint tour with another outing in Europe during the 2010 summer concert season. The two seasoned musicians recently enjoyed the news of their two 2010 Grammy nominations for their album "Live From Madison Square Garden," which earned nods for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group.

With three inductions to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Eric Clapton is easily one of the most successful musicians of his time, and often lauded as one of the best guitarists of all time.
