Elvis Costello 2011 Spring Tour News Elvis Costello has never missed a beat, and this year is no exception. Costello's "Revolver Tour" 2011 features The Spectacular Spinning Songbook. The tour kicks off on May 7 at the Grand Sierra Theatre in Reno and runs through July 31 at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island.

The 30-city tour features one other festival appearance: the Rochester Jazz Festival in New York on June 17. Additional tour dates include May 11-12 at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles; May 22-24 at the Beacon Theatre in New York; the Wolf Trap in Vienna on June 15; and the State Theatre in Portland on July 28.

The Spectacular Spinning Songbook is back for the first time in 25 years. The Songbook is a huge game show wheel that features more than Elvis Costello 40 songs, guaranteeing that each concert will be completely unique.

Keeping in the game show theme, some audience members will be able to spin the wheel and then wait in the "Hostage to Fortune Go-Go Cage" while the song is played. If the cage is not their cup of tea, then they can also choose to sit on-stage at the Society Lounge where they'll be served refreshments.

The Imposters (keyboardist Steve Nieve, drummer Pete Thomas and bassist Davey Faragher) will be joining Elvis Costello on tour.
