Elton John Tour Update Following a successful, nearly year-long "Face 2 Face" tour with Billy Joel, Elton John is back on the road, flying solo for a 31-city tour spanning from South Africa to Italy and everywhere in between.

Elton John's U.S. tour dates kick off on April 6 in Corpus Christi, Texas, and wrap up on May 1 in Youngstown, Ohio. Supporting act Ray Cooper will tour with John in the two South African and three Italy stops.

Joining John on tour will be also guitarist Davey Johnson, bassist Bob Birch, drummer Nigel Alsson, percussionist John Mahon and keyboardist Kim Bullard. The final Face 2 Face concert was on March 11 at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y.
