From March to July, Disturbed will be making their way through the U.S. and Europe for their 2009 tour in support of their June 2008 release "Indestructible."
Indestructible's single "Inside the Fire" made a record for being the longest No. 1 in the history of the Active Rock chart. It spent a total of 16 weeks at the top.
Coincidently, "Inside the Fire" also earned Disturbed their first Grammy Nomination in 2009, though they didn't win for the best 'Hard Rock Performance.'
They'll be having special guests Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, and Chimaira as special guests throughout their tour.
Formed in 1996, Disturbed (who were originally known as Brawl) came together as a rock band in Chicago, Illinois. The bands current members are Dan Donegan, Jon Moyer, Mike Wengren and David Draiman.
In total, the band has sold over 10 million albums and has released three consecutive No. 1 albums, which puts them in the ranks of the most successful heavy metal bands, such as Van Halen, Pearl Jam, U2, Dave Matthews Band, Staind and Metallica.
