Demi Lovato News and Information

Teen sensation Demi Lovato is hitting the road this summer, with plans to hit arenas and large theaters across the United States.
Lovato is joining the ranks of Miley Cyrus as a squeaky-clean teen queen, getting her start with "Barney and Friend," as a child. Eventually, she made her way to the Disney Channel where she starred in "Camp Rock" with the Jonas Brothers - a pop trio who gave her a chance to open on their massively successful tour last summer.
Lovato is not-so-slowly and surely becoming a tremendous Disney name - she has a starring role in the Disney Channel Original Series "Sonny With a Chance," and is filming the Disney Channel Original Movies "Princess Protection Program" and "Camp Rock 2."
In addition to all of this, she released "Don't Forget" on September 23rd, 2008, which includes a number of songs written by the Jonas Brothers. Hits from the album include the title track, "La La Land," and "Get Back." As opposed to so many young stars these days, Lovato wrote or co-wrote almost all of her songs.
The singer is bringing some support this summer - American Idol runner-up David Archuleta will join Lovato for the tour. They will kick off on June 21st in Hartford, CT, and will include shows in 47 cities through the end of August.
A deluxe edition of "Don't Forget" was recently released, which contains bonus tracks and a DVD including live behind-the scenes footage.
