Coldplay has announced hot tour dates throughout the U.S. and Canada this year in continued support of the newly released album Mylo Xyloto.

The 35-city tour is broken up into two parts. The first runs from April 17 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB, through May 4 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. After a stint in Europe, Coldplay returns to North American on June 22 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas and wraps up the long tour on Aug. 11 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Though the tour is all over the place, an added perk is that the band will be performing a handful of special two-night performances, including April 20-21 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, April 27-28 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and May 1, 2 and 4 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The second leg of their North American tour also includes many double performances like June 22-23 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, June 25-26 at the Toyota Center in Houston, June 28-29 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida and July 5-6 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Coldplay will be performing at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. July 8-9, followed by gigs in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New Jersey and Illinois.

Coldplay's most recent album, Mylo Xyloto, debuted in October 2011. Between the singles "Paradise" and "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," Coldplay snagged three Grammy nominations in 2012.
