Chickenfoot Tickets

Chickenfoot News and Information Supergroup Chickenfoot - Sammy Hager, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith - are kicking off a tour in April to support their debut self-titled release, which hit stores in June of 2009.

The tour kicks off in Pittsburgh, PA on August 5th, and will travel through the Great Lakes Region and up and down the East Coast through the end of the month. In September, they have scheduled stops in Nevada and California.

Chickenfoot hit the stage together for the first time in February of 2008 at a Sammy Hagar Concert in Las Vegas. Van Halen alum Hagar and Anthony covered vocals and bass, respectively, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Smith and guitarist Satriani rounded out the rock quartet.

The band, and critics, have said that Smith seems to hold the group's high energy together, and they seem to touch on every possible genre in each band member's repertoire - funk, blues, metal and rock - among others. Hagar has compared the sound to Led Zeppelin.

On June 5, 2009, the group performed on the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien as part of his first week as host. They performed "Oh Yeah," off of their single that was released the same day.
