Carlos Mencia News and Information Carlos Mencia is enjoying fame that few comedians dream of - his own show on Comedy Central! However, he is still touring regularly, bringing a more personal slant on his comedy than what fans see on TV.

Mencia, born Ned Arnel Mencia, is the seventeenth of eighteen children. Due to a domestic dispute, he was known as "Ned Holness" until he was 18.
