Brooks & Dunn are the quintessential country duo, bringing droves of fans out for their high-energy shows full of boisterous music and honky tonk fun.

Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn got together in 1991 and released their debut album, "Brand New Man." The album offered up a hit title track, and that was a jumping off point for massive amounts of success.

Some of the most notable tracks from the duo, which is the best selling country pair and among the best selling of all time, are responsible for country anthems such as "Boot Scootin Boogie" and "You Cant Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl."

Most recently, the duo released "Hillbilly Deluxe," which finds the men returning to their honky tonk roots. The album was a massive success, and a large tour followed the effort. The band is known for their live performances, which often happen on tours with other legendary country artists such as Montgomery Gentry and Big and Rich.

The duo has taken home a number of awards over the years, including the Country Music Association Vocal Duo Award each year from 1992 on, save a rough year in 2000 when Montgomery Gentry stole the prize.
