Brett Dennen 2011 Tour News and Bio Throughout May and June, Brett Dennen is taking the country by storm as he tours in support of his latest studio album, Loverboy. Special guests Bobby Long, Dawes, MILOW and The Submarines will also be joining Dennen on various tour dates.

The 30+ city tour runs through June 25 at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, Calif., with gigs at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on May 21; the Vogue Theatre in Indianapolis on June 2; the Moore Theatre in Seattle on June 14; the House of Blues in San Diego on June 19, and more.

Loverboy, which debuted in April 2011, is Dennen's fourth studio album.

Brett Dennen has only been on the music scene since 2004, but he's already been compared to music greats like Paul Simon, James Taylor and Bob Dylan, all of whom he credits as being significant influences on his musical career.

Dennen, a native from Oakdale, Calif., released his debut, self-titled studio album in 2004, but it wasn't until 2006 that he began gaining in popularity with the album So Much More, which featured hits like "She's Mine," "Ain't No Reason" and "Darlin' Do Not Fear."

In 2008 he released his third studio album, Hope for the Hopeless, which was recently followed up by 2011's Loverboy.

In addition to his four studio albums, Dennen's music has also been features on various television shows like Grey's Anatomy, House, Scrubs, Roadtrip Nation and The Unit. Additionally, Dennen has been a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Show with David Letterman.

When he's not working on his own music, Dennen spends his time supporting The Mosaic Project, a San Fran Bay Area non-profit that works with children of diverse backgrounds.
