Black Crowes 2010 Tour News
Posted 6/15/2010
To honor the 20th anniversary of The Black Crowes 1990 debut album "Shake Your Money Maker," the band is gearing up for a tremendous tour from late summer to winter and a new double album of acoustic-only material, "Croweology."

"Croweology" is scheduled for release on Aug. 3 just ten days before the kick-off of their "Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys" 2010 tour on Aug. 13 at the Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee.

The tour, which consists of a whopping 62 concerts, begins with performances nearly every night, including stops at the House of Blues in Cleveland; Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa; and The Palace in Albany.

In October, the band begins their first one city concert series with two-night performances at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vt. (Oct. 19-20); and Boston's House of Blues (Oct. 22-23).

The Black Crowes also have multiple performances at New York's Nokia Theatre Times Square (Oct. 31-Nov. 6); Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club (Nov. 13-14); and The Fillmore in San Francisco (Dec. 12-19), which concludes the tour.

This year's tour is unlike any in The Black Crowes history and is being billed as "Acoustic Hors D'oeuvres followed by an Electric Reception With The Black Crowes," consisting of an hour and a half each of an acoustic and electric set.
