Beach Boys 2012 Tour News It's finally official, the Beach Boys have signed on for a 50th anniversary tour in 2012, which includes former bandmate Brian Wilson.

Wilson, as well as Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks, are coming back together to work on a new studio album and headline a 50-date international tour beginning with the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 27.

Additional tour dates include Aug. 3 at the O2 World in Berlin and Aug. 4 at the Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart. A full roster of U.S. dates will be released in the coming weeks.

Beach Boys rumors of a reunion had long been denied, especially by Wilson, but the group has since had a change of heart. Wilson has not performed with the band since the mid-1960s when he chose to leave and focus on a solo career. He was later replaced by Bruce Johnston.
