Canadian native Avril Lavigne is going to be rockin' the homeland during the month of October in support of her latest release, Goodbye Lullaby.
The Black Star Tour begins with a two-night opening gig at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, BC. This is followed by a monthlong tour that will take her to Prince George, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto to name just a few.
Debuting in March 2011, Goodbye Lullaby is Lavigne's fourth studio album, spawning the hit single "What The Hell." When she's not touring and making new music, Lavigne is very involved in fashion and philanthropy. She's launched her own clothing line, Abbey Dawn, which supports the Avril Lavigne Foundation - an organization that works on behalf of children and youth living with serious illnesses and disabilities.
