Ashley Tisdale became a ''tween queen with roles in two hit Disney efforts, and she is now turning her attention to the pop world, with one hit release under her belt and another on the way.

Tisdale grew up in New Jersey and was discovered at a mall when she was three. By the time she was eight, she was performing on Broadway in Les Miserables and participated in a number of other theater performances.
