Anthony Hamilton News and Information R&B Star Anthony Hamilton is heading out on the road this summer with fellow soulful singer Musiq Soulchild, both of them supporting new albums. The trek kicks off May 28th in Houston, Texas, and will extend through June 28th at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, NC.

Hamilton, who gained a name for himself as a neo-soul singer-songwriter, found massive fame with his second studio album, which has sold over one million copies.

The singer was discovered while singing in his church choir at age 10. He got his first taste of fame singing the chorus of Nappy Roots' 2002 single "Po; Folks," which earned him a Grammy Award.

In 2003, he released his first solo album to hit the big time, "Comin' from Where I'm From." The album included the title track as well as "Charlene."

In 2005, he released "Soulife" and "Ain't Nobody Worryin'" - the latter included the hit "Can't Let Go."

Throughout his career, Hamilton has been known for his cameos on tracks for fellow hip hop artists, including Talb Kweli, Eve, Nick Cannon, Chingy, Keyshi Cole, as well country star John Rich.
