Dubbed "An Evening With Andre Rieu," the tour will embark first in Canada, playing Edmonton's Rexall Place and the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, among other venues and cities before crossing the border. The first US date is Sept. 16 at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., but other key stops include Chicago (9/18), San Antonio (10/18), Washington, DC (11/19), and Philadelphia (11/29).
Rieu's objective is clear: give his audiences an evening to remember. He says, "My main goal, in every concert, is for people to have an unforgettable night. I like to talk to my audience, interact with them and look them in the eyes. People can expect a colorful concert, with beautiful melodies, waltzes, surprises, balloons, the tenors and our lovely sopranos from South Africa and Australia."

'The King of the Waltz,' Andre Rieu, is returning this fall with his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra for a slew of dates in the US and Canada between now and the end of November.
