This summer, Andre Rieu is celebrating music with several tour dates in the U.S. and Canada. The "Celebration of Music" tour is coming to 18 cities across the U.S. and will make three stops in Canada. The U.S. stops include Rieu's first performance in Florida since 2007.
Rieu, who will once again be joined by the Johann Strauss Orchestra, is kicking things off on June 18 in Long Island, N.Y., before heading to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan and Illinois.
After a four month long break, Rieu will return to Arizona on November 29 and Las Vegas on November 30. He's also got four California, two Florida and one Washington stop scheduled for December.

I want to bring an ode to waltzes and polkas that bring joy, to romantic ballads and to many more beautiful melodies. It will be a very special night," Andre said on his Web site.

Selling more than 30 million albums worldwide, traveling with his own orchestra and being labeled as the largest solo male touring artist in 2009, Andre Rieu continues to make waves in 2010 with the release of his latest album, "Forever Vienna."
Rieu?s album, which has already been released in to UK, jumped to No. 2 on the U.K. Album Charts and is the first 19th Century music album to ever appear on the pop charts.
"Forever Vienna" is making its American debut on June 29. The album features Rieu?s arrangements of "Strauss & Co, "Wine, Women and Song," "Carnival Of Venice," and more.

Andre Rieu is a Dutch violinist, conductor, and composer best known for creating an international revival in waltz music with his "Johann Strauss Orchestra."
Rieu was born into a musical family and began studying violin at age five. Later in life, he studied violin at the Conservatoire Royal in Li? and in the Conservatorium Maastricht. From 1974 to 1977, he attended the Music Academy in Brussels.
Rieu is on tour throughout the U.S. between now and late June.
