Adele 2011 Tour Update Following a bout of laryngitis that forced her to postpone several shows earlier this summer, Adele is recuperated and ready to resume her coveted tour promoting her smash hit, "21." She'll be on the road in August, then picks up rescheduled dates throughout October.

Her album is the biggest seller of the year, outpacing Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" with over 2.2 million copies sold. The success of her tour is also surpassing all industry expectations, especially since she's playing mainly clubs and smaller theaters across the country.

The British chanteuse dominates the charts with her hits "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You," and most recently has been nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards. She's also set to perform at the VMAs in Los Angeles on August 28th.
