A Static Lullaby News and Information A Static Lullaby combines screaming vocals with singing, breeding a new post-hardcore sound.

The group was formed after some jam sessions in a Chino Hills, Calif., high school when some students left their respective bands to become one. Frontman Joe Brown, bassist Phil Pirrone, drummer Brett Divono and guitarists Dan Arnold and Nathan Lindeman came together, and within two weeks they had their first gig.

The group developed some local buzz and released "Withered,” "A Sip of Wine Chased with Cyanide” and "A Song for a Broken Heart” on a demo. They sold 6,000 copies and were eventually signed to Ferret Records in 2002. "…And Dont Forget to Breathe” was the groups first release, and they spent over a year touring behind the collection to drum up support. They were commonly paired with acts such as AFI, My Chemical Romance and Brand New.

After their debut, A Static Lullaby released "Faso Latido,” and there were some lineup changes in the group. Eventually, they put out a self-titled album, their third release. The group is planning on a 2008 release with some touring early in the year to showcase songs from the upcoming album.
