10000 Lakes Festival Tickets

The 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KFL08) is a four-day festival in Minnesota and is now in its sixth year. The festival will be held at the Soo Pass Ranch July 22-25 and will feature headlining performances from first-timers The Dave Matthew Band, Widespread Panic (two nights), and Wilco.


The festival is held over 500 acres and features four main stages - in 2006, over 18,000 concert-goers traveled to the ranch to be dazzled by some of the biggest names in jam and bluegrass.

In addition to the headliners this year, Umphrey's McGee, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Railroad Earth, Junior Brown, Tea Leaf Green, WookieFoot, Trampled By Turtles, Cloud Cult, Everyone Orchestra, Kathleen Edwards, Pretty Lights, BoomBox, William Elliott Whitmore, Kinetix, The Macpodz, My Dear Disco, The Ragbirds, and Enchanted Ape have been announced thus far.

The four stages bring very different atmospheres to the festival - the Main Stage has the most room, and the headliners can perform for the masses. The Field Stage is located in front of a field and attracts large crowds. The Barn stage is positioned at the base of a hill and included a translucent canopy to shield the hot summer sun, and the Saloon Stage is just as it sounds - it has the most intimate performances and is open later than the other stages.

In 2003, the festival began with performances from Widespread Panic, Allman Brothers Band, Govt Mule, moe., Galactic and O.A.R. 2004 marked performances from the String Cheese Incident, 311, The Roots and Galactic, while 2005 brought Widespread Panic once again with Trey Anastasio, The Black Crowes, Les Claypool and G. Love & Special Sauce. The following year included performances from Phil Lesh & Friends, repeat-headlining from Trey Anastasio and String Cheese, plus Benvento Russo Duo featuring Mike Gordon and the Keller Williams Incident. In 2008, Bob Weir & RatDog, String Cheese, Umphreys McGee, moe. and Govt Mule made their way back to the stage.

The festival has again paired with a number of charity partners, including a food drive with The Conscious Alliance, community support via grants through the Rex Foundation, the environmental organization Rock the Earth, the Becker County Humane Society and The Seven Below Arts Initiative, established by Trey Anastasio of Phish to advance the arts.
