There are a few things that come to find when you think of band rehearsals, and being quiet isn't one of them. So it comes as a shock that Barcelona has fined U2 about 18,000 Euros, or $22,000, because of noise levels.

On June 30 and July 2, 2009, U2 kicked off their huge 360 degree tour at Barcelona's Camp Nou Stadium. Because they were the first two tour dates, the band wanted to rehearse. Makes sense, right?

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are kicking it old school this fall as they embark on a 35-city tour throughout the U.S. this fall.

The E. 1999 Eternal Tour will take fans back to 1995 when their sophmore album, E. 1999 Eternal, was released. The album was in honor of the late Eazy-E, who signed Bone Thugs to his label, Ruthless Records.

Styx has just announced a special throwback tour like nothing they've ever done before.

This fall, Styx will travel the U.S. playing–in their entirety–the songs from their 1977 and 1978 albums–The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight, respectively.

Though Aimee Mann hasn't released an album since 2008's @#%&! Smilers, she has been busy turning her 2005 album, The Forgotten Arm, into a musical.

The album's songs tell the story of John, a Vietnam War veteran-turned-boxer, who struggles with an addiction. Soon, John falls in love with Caroline and together, the two travel across the country.

Like years past, the event will be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. (10475 Little Patuxent Parkway) on Sunday, Sept. 26. The gates are opening at 1 p.m., but no official schedule has been posted.

Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie, a.k.a. the "Gruesome Twosome," have announced a special fall tour with supporting act Murderdolls.

The Halloween Hootenanny tour kicks off at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 30 and runs through Nov. 20 at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium.

It's still two years away, but the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony has already turned into a British showdown.

That's because the headlining spot for the ceremony will be filled with either The Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney of The Beatles, according to the Daily Star.

The Allman Brothers just announced the first set of concerts since frontman Greg Allman's liver transplant in late June. So far, only three dates have been announced, but the band's official website promises East Coast concerts in intimate settings.

Allman Brothers tickets are available for Nov. 18-20 at Boston's Orpheum Theatre.

Sedaris will be touring the U.S. in October and November 2010, and he even has tour dates scheduled already for next April! New venues are being announced all the time, but some of the highlights of his upcoming tour are Oct. 7 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta; Oct. 17 at the Soverign Performing Arts Center in Reading, Penn.; and Nov. 1 and 2 at the Apollo Theatre in New York.

American Idol has decided to make even more changes. The production company for the popular tv show has signed a deal with Universal Music Group to make, distribute, and market the albums of the top singers on the show.

19 Entertainment, the production company, was with Sony Music but decided to switch to the larger group. Sony Music did produce successes in Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, and Carrie Underwood. The latter has won many high awards including multiple Grammy Awards.

Rob Thomas joined Daryl for the 31st episode for Live From Daryl’s House, a free monthly web show created by Daryl Hall.  The webisode is constructed with an unplugged style and gives fans an insiders’ look on how musicians work together in a studio environment.  It is a true testament to the talent and passion these two men have as musicians.

Will.i.am, leader of the popular group, was very excited, saying, “We came out in ‘98 and our career, if you would look at it on chart, there’s no dips in it. For our career to still be healthy and vibrant and doing things like 6 million downloads, it’s pretty significant.”

Marc Anthony just kicked off a world tour in support of his new album, Iconos.

It was an ordinary day for Joe Perry as he took his Ducati out for a spin July 15th, while stopped at a red light, he could not have prepared for what was about to happen.

“This woman behind me just didn’t slow down at the light.  She was going 25-30 miles per hour and just rear-ended me… Next thing I know, I’m on tarmac looking up at the sky… Everything on the bike from the engine back is smashed up, but I don’t even have a black and blue mark.  I can’t believe it.  I’m just really lucky,” Perry told Rolling Stone Magazine.

Miley Cyrus is currently filming her new movie “LOL: Laughing Out Loud” with actress Demi Moore. The duo will be playing mother and daughter in the remake of a 2008 French comedy.

In the movie, Lola (played by Miley), goes after her ex-boyfriend’s best friend after their messy breakup. Her mother, Anne (played by Demi), has trouble after her divorce. Anne tries to restart her life as a single mother while keeping communication open with her daughter.

If you've always wanted to see a taping of The Daily Show, but never had a chance to make it up to New York then you're in luck! Jon Stewart is coming to Washington, D.C. from to tape several episodes.

In honor of the November elections, Stewart will be at the Shakespeare Theater Company's Sidney Harmon Hall for a week to tape its "Indecision 2010" coverage. The episodes will air on Comedy Central at 11 p.m. ET from Oct. 25-28.

If you can't get enough of Louis C.K., then you're in luck because his comedy show Louie was just renewed today for another 13 episodes.

The show, which is written/directed by Louis, is centered around his life as a recently divorced father with two daughters. It began airing on June 29, 2010, and has 6 episodes to date.

They say that time heals all wounds. While I am still not over the demise of “The Chappelle Show,” it seems many have moved on. Last month, just four years after the last (original) Chappelle Show aired on Comedy Central, the station is finally getting high ratings again.

On July 7, a record 2.4 million people watched “Tosh.0.” For those of you who aren't familiar, the show debuted in June 2009 with comedian Daniel Tosh commenting on online videos and pictures. While the high ratings indicate that he isn't going anywhere anytime soon, some criticize his blatant racism and compare him to the un-edited potential of "America's Funniest Videos" host Bob Saget.

Following his involvement with Just For Laughs Toronto, Mike Birbiglia is gearing up for fundraisers, a new book and "The Painfully True Stories" tour.

After an Aug. 2 performance of "Sleepwalk Unplugged" in Brooklyn, Birbiglia is holding a special fundraiser for the Gulf Coast in New York City on Aug. 4 and 5.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are expecting to see a lot more of shooting guard Daniel Gibson in the upcoming season. 

Gibson saw his playing time decrease last year despite being one of the few players LeBron James actually trusted with the ball.

The Washington Redskins fell to the Baltimore Ravens, 23-3, in the preseason version of the Battle of the Beltways.

It was a pitiful performance from Washington, particularly from its reserves throughout the second half.

It's official: Clemson's quarterback will get to chase his dreams of playing in the major leagues next season.

The Baltimore Orioles are now 8-2 under new manager Buck Showalter, who seems to be making a difference.

The team seems to be making less mental errors, something that plagued them all year long.

Redskins fans will have to wait another day to see if defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is fit to join the team. Haynesworth, dealing with a sore knee, was unable to attempt to pass the team’s conditioning test on Sunday.

Head coach Mike Shanahan won’t allow Haynesworth to begin practicing with the team until he passes the test, which consists of completing three 300-yard sprints in a specified amount of time. He’s also the only player on the roster being made to pass it before practicing because he skipped all of the team’s offseason workouts.Haynesworth has earned few supporters with his behavior this offseason, and this latest episode isn’t helping his cause. He chose to work out on his own mainly as a gesture of pouting over the team’s change to a 3-4 defense following the addition of defensive coordinator Jim Haslett. Haynesworth signed the richest contract in NFL history before the 2009 season, expecting to man the middle of the line for a Redskins team playing the 4-3, which is the only type of defense he played in his years with Tennessee.

The Baltimore Ravens’ season has gotten off to an ominous start well before the opening kickoff. The AFC North contenders lost  Domonique Foxworth for the season, after the cornerback tore his ACL last week.

The injury is just the latest in a rash of them for Baltimore. The team is already dealing with the potential loss of rookie linebacker Sergio Kindle, who fractured his skull after falling down the stairs last week. And Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed and cornerbacks Fabian Washington and Lardarius Webb are coming back from ACL injuries of their own.“I feel a ton of emotions, but the biggest one I’m feeling is I’m letting people down,” said Foxworth. “I know everyone is excited about this team and excited about this season…from the fans and the entire organization from [Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti] on down to the people who clean up. I feel like I let a bunch of people down.”

Minnesota Twins second baseman Orlando Hudson is hurt again, possibly forcing the team to make a trade.

Hudson injured his oblique in an at-bat, and those injuries can be very stubborn and take quite a long time to heal.

The New England Patriots delivered surprising news to the media this weekend: Wide receive Wes Welker will be ready to start training camp with the team.

Welker, who is recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee, had been expected to miss the start of the season. But he has recovered well ahead of schedule, with the Patriots saying he’ll be able to participate in all drills, including ones with contact.Welker torn his ACL in the last game of the regular season in 2009, and an extended absence this season would’ve been difficult for New England to deal with considering how productive he is. Welker has exceeded 100 catches and 1,000 yards receiving in each of his three seasons in Foxboro, and set career-highs with 123 catches and 1,348 yards in 2009.

The Texas Rangers are fairly certain that they will have to let outfielder Josh Hamilton walk after this season.

The franchise is still in limbo as the sale of the club has still not gone through and appears to be on hold.
